Complex, yet seamless freelancer onboarding
Tadaah connects freelancers with clients in the childcare sector. I was challenged to design an onboarding that would provide more guidance while also collecting valuable information from freelancers
User research to create more empathy
After discussing the project internally with stakeholders, I wanted to talk to users. I spoke to more than 10 users who had gone through the old onboarding process. I learned a lot and gained a lot of empathy. To synthesize my learnings I used a persona and empathy map.
Documentation is everything
From the low fidelity work, I started creating high-fidelity designs. These were documented very carefully and shared with development.
End results
The end result is a more complex flow that is still easy to use. The onboarding completion rate has increased a little and satisfaction is up.
