Information architecture overhaul to improve wayfinding
Starred helps recruitment teams automically collect and analyse feedback from candidates. I was asked to redesign their information architecture to enable a more seamless navigation experience
I researched and tested a new information architecture
The first step was mapping out the previous information architecture. What stood out is the amount of overlap between separate sections of the platform. This made us ask the question if the current sections made sense and why we started a card sorting experiment with a test group.
From there we worked on creating a new, more clean information architecture on which we could build the new design system.
End results
From low-fi, multiple prototypes we got to a high-fi navigation system which is clean, dynamic to the user, and leaves lots of room for dashboarding. The new navigation helped onboard and retain more individual users that were hard to attain.
